How we work
Philosophy of our work
In our work we don’t want to use trivial statements such as for instance “Design is our passion, which we pursue with all our strength.” Such clichés we readily leave to our competition. Of course we like what we do, we are not bad at it, but sometimes we are simply sick of it.
What is our way of thinking?
Well, we know that there are 3 basic issues that are important for our customers:
Money
In the total costs of a civil engineering project, the costs of the structural design constitute a very small percentage ranging usually from 0.8 to 1.2 per cent of all costs. In our work, we do our best to apply such design solutions that would reduce the amount of building materials without incurring increased labor costs. We use proven solutions that are successfully implemented on the German market and offer much greater opportunities to develop non-standard construction designs without compromising their safety level.
Our services are not the least expensive on the market, but they guarantee economic solutions. Moreover, the quality of our documentation largely eliminates potential errors arising from the insufficient legibility and clarity.
Time
We are fully aware that the execution time plays the key role throughout the investment process. The civil engineering project must be completed as quickly as possible so that it can start bringing profit to the building’s owner. That’s easy and logical. That is why we always do our best to meet the tight deadlines for the delivery of the structural documentation. If necessary, we are ready to devote our free time in order to provide documentation as quickly as possible.
There are of course – like in every other design office – extreme situations where we are unable to provide documentation on the designated day. In such situations however, our customers are always informed by us in advance.
Trust and quality
When we start cooperation with a customer, we always enter into a kind of unwritten agreement assuming that both parties trust each other. The customer trusts us that we will perform our work professionally and with due diligence (quality) and we trust the customer that we receive from him all the necessary information and remuneration for the service rendered.
However, there are situations where our engineers make mistakes. As a design office, we have no big problem admitting these mistakes and correcting them immediately (if we are to blame for them). We never try to shift the responsibility to other partners of the investment process if the fault was caused by us.
OUR WORKING METHODOLOGY
Cooperation process
Each new task is subjected to individual assessment and boundary conditions. So before we even start working on a design, we try to listen carefully to our customers’ requests in order to be able to professionally meet their requirements.
At the next stage, the team assigned to the task meets to discuss the basic assumptions of the design and to analyze various problem solving options (especially those that lead to a better economic outcome of the investment). Only a high-quality planning process, which is reflected in individual coordination discussions with all design participants, can lead to the optimization of the design process.
In our vocabulary there is no expression: “that’s infeasible”. It is always feasible. However, the basic question is the economic effect. In the design process, there are always different ways to solve a specific problem. We are able to substantiate each of those possibilities, while pointing out the best solution that will meet the customer’s expectations.

Dysponujemy również oprogramowaniem pomocniczym oraz własnymi arkuszami kalkulacyjnymi, które pozwalają na szybkie sprawdzenie szczególnych miejsc konstrukcji.
Jesteśmy ogromnymi zwolennikami technologii BIM. Technologia ta pozwala m.in. na zamodelowanie kompletnej konstrukcji budynku, błyskawiczne zestawienie niezbędnych materiałów konstrukcyjnych oraz wyeliminowanie większości błędów wynikających z nieumiejętnego odczytania dokumentacji płaskiej (w szczególności przy skomplikowanej geometrii budynku).
